During ChristmasVille weekend a professional ice carver turns giant blocks of clear ice into sculptures live on Main Street in Old Town Rock Hill. There are three demonstrations: two on Saturday, December 5 (the first at 11 a.m., a second at 2 p.m.) and one on Sunday, December 6 at 1 p.m., each about an hour long. Children can watch the carving up close and may catch a sprinkle of shaved-ice snow. The finished sculptures stay on display along the street for the rest of the day.
