About this adventure

Rowan Public Library's South branch in China Grove kicks off the holiday season with Shimmer and Shine: an hour of songs, stories, laughs and a craft. It is a Monday evening session, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on December 7, so it fits after school. The library pitches it at school-age children, but younger brothers and sisters are welcome too; anyone 8 or under must have a caregiver aged 16 or older with them the whole time. There is no fee and nothing to book on the listing; questions go to the library's children's line at 980-432-8670. The same character storytime also runs at the East branch in Rockwell on November 30 and the West branch in Cleveland on December 5.
