Opera Carolina artists visit Marion Diehl Recreation Center for a free Culture Blocks musical storytime that blends live singing, interactive storytelling and early-literacy skills. This session tells La Cenerentola — Rossini's Cinderella — in which kindness and honesty win out over wealth and looks, with fast-paced music and comic characters like the prince disguised as his valet and the scheming stepsisters. Registration is open to ages 2 to 17. One hour on a Saturday afternoon. At the time of checking, registration showed as full; check ActiveNet for a waitlist or cancellations.
