Christmas at Cantigny in Wheaton transforms the park's gardens with a half-mile Light Show route of thousands of lights, music-orchestrated displays, larger-than-life floral sculptures and a towering 28-foot Christmas tree, running evenings from 4:30 to 9 p.m. between November 20, 2026 and January 3, 2027. Families can also step inside the historic McCormick House, dressed for Christmas with hundreds of Cantigny-grown poinsettias, skate on the outdoor ice rink, and warm up with cocoa and snacks at the Visitors Center. On five Sundays (November 22 and 29, December 6, 13 and 27) the show becomes 'A Marvelous Christmas', with music inspired by superhero films — kids can come dressed as their favorite heroes. Admission varies by date; booking early saves on admission and includes free parking (an $11 value). Ice skating and upgrades such as Fireside S'mores are priced separately.
