Willow Hill Lights turns Willow Hill Golf Course in Northbrook into a 2.5-mile drive-thru holiday light show for its sixth season, open nightly from 5 p.m. from Friday, November 13, 2026 through Sunday, January 3, 2027. Families stay in the car the whole way, tune the radio to FM 95.7 for the music synchronized to the lights, and drive past more than 1.5 million LEDs, three drive-through tunnels, a 30-foot Christmas tree and scenes such as the abominable snowman, Rudolph and his reindeer, the Twelve Days of Christmas and Frosty and friends. It works for every age, including babies and grandparents, and in any weather. Tickets are sold per vehicle for timed arrival slots: $40 online for a standard vehicle ($50 at the gate) and $100 for buses and limos ($110 at the gate); some slots sell out, and arriving mid-slot usually means a shorter line. Hot chocolate, mini cinnamon donuts and pretzel sticks can be pre-ordered with the ticket. During 12 nights of the 2026 show the event features a local nonprofit.
