Instrumental Theatre Company hosts a free community sing-along at Berger Park in Edgewater on Saturday, December 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Actors and musicians lead the crowd through a songbook of winter favorites such as Let It Snow, Jingle Bells and White Christmas, with cocoa and cookies to go with the singing. The organizers say that while many seasonal songs come from Christmas traditions, the event is meant as a celebration of community and togetherness, and people of all faiths, cultures and traditions are welcome. It is listed for all ages, so toddlers who like to bounce along and older kids who know the words will both fit in. Berger Park sits on the lakefront at Sheridan Road and Granville Avenue.
