Libertyville Recreation hosts Donuts with Santa on the morning of Sunday, December 13, 2026, between 9 a.m. and noon at the Crawford House on West Lake Street. Children meet Santa, pose for a holiday photo with him and tell him what is on their wish list, and Santa hands each child a small gift he has brought from the North Pole. Families also mix a batch of reindeer food to sprinkle on the lawn on Christmas Eve, then sit down to donuts and hot cocoa together. Because it is a relaxed indoor morning with a craft, it suits preschoolers and early-elementary children who might find a crowded mall Santa line too much. Registration goes through the village's ActiveNet system, linked from the event card; the fee is not shown on the events page.
