About this adventure

Oak Lawn Ice Arena celebrates the new year early with a daytime New Year's Eve open skate that ends in a balloon drop. Families skate together through the late morning and early afternoon of December 31 and count down to welcome the New Year as a group, without staying up until midnight. The session runs for two hours. Admission is $10 and skate rental is $5. The park district invites the whole family and gives no age limits, and the listing shows no advance registration.
