An outdoor nature storytime on the Highland Park lakefront on Wednesday, October 21, from 10 to 11 a.m. A naturalist reads a story, leads a short sensory hike on the beach or in the ravine, and finishes with a nature activity that pairs with the book. It is for children 6 months to 6 years with an adult. The fee is $12 for the first child, which covers one accompanying adult, and $6 for each additional child. Pre-register, and dress for the weather since the whole program is outside.
