Isle a la Cache Museum in Romeoville hosts a traveling exhibition by South Carolina silhouette artist Clay Rice, developed with the South Carolina State Museum. It is based on his children's book The Stick, about a boy who sets off on an adventure after finding a stick, and shows original hand-cut silhouette illustrations that blend black-and-white cutouts with a colorful world. The exhibit is free, needs no registration, and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday until December 13. Pair it with the museum's WonderKids programs on The Stick on December 3 and 12.
