Aurora's Paramount Theatre stages a new adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol for the 2026 holiday season, running November 11, 2026 through January 3, 2027, with performance times that vary by date. Adapted and directed by Trent Stork, with arrangements, orchestrations and original music by Matt Deitchman, the production follows Ebenezer Scrooge through his Christmas Eve visits from the ghosts of past, present and future, and is built around live music. The theater pitches it as a holiday tradition for families, and children from the area play Tiny Tim and other young roles. It is a full-length stage play, so it suits school-age children and teens who can sit through a theater performance; younger children may find the ghost scenes intense. Lobby doors open one hour before each performance. Tickets are sold through the Paramount box office (630-896-6666, Monday–Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.) and website.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Show page gives 'Nov 11–Jan 3, Times Vary' without a year; it is the current 2026–27 season page (cast bios reference 2026 productions; press lists it in the 2026–27 Broadway Series) and Nov 11, 2026 is a Wednesday. Performance calendar loads by script and was not read, so no single time is given. No age guidance printed beyond 'families and friends alike'.
