The Glen Ellyn Park District's Trunk or Treat at Main Street brings families to the Main Street Recreation Center, 501 Hill Avenue, on Monday, October 26 from 4 to 5:30 pm. Kids follow a trail of decorated car trunks to collect treats, costumes are highly encouraged, and a pumpkin carving station runs while supplies last; the carved pumpkins join the annual Pumpkins on Main display outside the center. The event is free and open to all ages. It doubles as a drop-off donation drive for Share Our Spare, so guests are encouraged to bring accepted baby and children's items for local families in need.
