About this adventure
A 20-minute drop-in storytime for babies and young toddlers on a grown-up's lap at the Mason Public Library. The session is structured and interactive: simple books, songs, lap rhymes and bounces, rhythm instruments and a little sign language, ending with bubbles every time. Songs repeat for a month so little ones learn them, while the books change weekly. It starts promptly at 10:15, so arrive a few minutes early; adults are expected to sing along and engage with their child, and drop-offs are not allowed. Registration is not required and the library meets nearly every week year-round, cancelling when Mason City Schools close for severe weather.
