About this adventure
North Chagrin Nature Center sits between Sunset Pond and Sanctuary Marsh and is the educational hub of North Chagrin Reservation. Inside are native live-animal exhibits, a children's play area, several wildlife-viewing windows and a Nature Shop; outside, flat paved trails start right by the parking lot, and the Buttermilk Falls overlook and Hemlock Trail are close by. Naturalists run frequent programs here, from drop-by discovery tables where kids meet a live bat or flying squirrel to storytimes and family hikes (see the Metroparks calendar for dates).
