School-age children make homemade Christmas ornaments to take home and hang on the family tree at the Marysville Public Library's Raymond Branch in rural Union County. Drop in during the two-hour after-school window on Wednesday, December 16. It is a small-town alternative to the bigger city holiday events; no fee or registration is listed. The library describes it as a program for school-agers, so younger siblings may need a grown-up's help.
