Marion-Franklin Branch Library hosts an after-school WinterFest to celebrate the season. Children and families can watch a performer, make art, play games and hang out with friends during the two-hour drop-in window. The library lists it for families and children ages 7 to 11, so it works well for elementary-age kids coming straight from school, with younger siblings welcome alongside parents. No registration is shown on the event page, and like other library programs it is free to attend. The program meets in the branch meeting room.
