About this adventure
Columbus Children's Theatre's holiday show is Mr. Scrooge, a song-filled, 60-minute musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol performed by actors of all ages in Studio One at the Riffe Center downtown. Grumpy Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by three mischievous ghosts who show him the joy he has been missing, told with toe-tapping tunes, colorful characters and plenty of comedy, and ending on kindness, community and second chances. The one-hour running time makes it a manageable first holiday play: CCT recommends it for ages 5 and up, so it works for kindergartners through tweens with their parents or grandparents. The run covers most of December. Seats are reserved through CAPA: book online, call the CAPA Ticket Center at 614-469-0939, or buy in person at the Ohio Theatre box office at 39 E. State Street.
