During the first days of winter break the historic Palace Theatre in downtown Grapevine screens an animated double feature for young children: A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965) and Frosty the Snowman (1966), both rated G and about 25 minutes each, so the whole program is short enough for preschoolers. Frosty 'invites you to wear your pajamas', making it a cozy late-morning outing. Showings are at 11 am on Monday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 22; tickets are $10. Online sales close at midnight before each show, and day-of tickets are sold at the Palace box office starting one hour before showtime. All tickets are will-call and nothing is printed in advance, sales are final, and films start on time with no previews, so arrive early. Outside food and drink are not allowed, but a same-day receipt from any Grapevine restaurant earns a free popcorn.
