AD EX, the Dallas architecture and design group, brings its hands-on Build Your City! activity to the Lecture Hall at Klyde Warren Park on Saturday, November 7 and Saturday, December 12, 2026, from noon to 2 p.m. Children use craft supplies and simple building methods to build a model of the city they think Dallas should have, such as a new park, a different kind of school, or anything else that would make the city better to live in. The park calls it a free come-and-go activity for all ages: 'stay for a minute or a while.' It's a good fit for primary-school children who like LEGO or cardboard building, and parents can join in. You don't need to register. The Lecture Hall is one of the park's covered program spaces. Check the parking page before driving downtown.
