About this adventure

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Family Holidays concert is a one-hour, kid-friendly program of holiday classics at the Meyerson Symphony Center, built for families with young children. Saint Nick makes a stop to check everyone off his list, mezzo-soprano Josefina Maldonado sings, the Dallas Symphony Children's Chorus performs, and the audience's children become the stars in a holiday sing-along. Guest conductor Lawrence Loh leads, and the hall's Lay Family Organ is featured with resident organist Bradley Hunter Welch. The Meyerson opens two hours before the concert; the DSO suggests arriving at least 30 minutes early to park and find seats. Flash photos and video are not allowed in the hall.
