About this adventure
Highland Village turns Doubletree Ranch Park into a free holiday festival for one Saturday in December. Children can have pictures taken with Santa, see reindeer, sled down a snow hill, play in a snow area, ride trackless trains, jump in bounce houses, get their faces painted or a balloon twisted and do crafts, with food vendors on site. The city suggests arriving around noon for shorter lines. Parking is tight at the park, so offsite parking with a shuttle runs from Copperas Branch Park. Through the season the park is also decorated with Christmas lights and lawn ornaments, so families can come back for an evening stroll.
