Plano Metropolitan Ballet presents the fairytale ballet Sleeping Beauty at the Courtyard Theater in downtown Plano in January 2027. Performances in this window are Sunday, January 3 at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 9 at 3 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, January 10 at 3 p.m. More shows follow on January 16. The January 10 matinee is also a Girl Scout outreach performance and is open to the public. When checked, the listing said ticket information was still to come. A story ballet with a princess, fairies and a happy ending is a good first ballet for young children, and the Courtyard Theater is a small historic venue, so seats are close to the stage.
