Comerica Center in Frisco is the Dallas Stars' StarCenter rink for Frisco, Little Elm and Prosper families; free parking for skaters even on arena event days. Public skating sessions are open to all ages and skill levels; you can buy tickets online or at the rink, with or without rental skates. General admission is $17, children 3 and under skate free, and rental skates are $6. First-timers can use skating props in designated bucket zones, which are set up on Friday evenings, weekends and themed sessions. From November 23 to January 2 its public sessions become Winter Wonderland, with a holiday skating show on November 28 and a Santa night on December 12. The rink also hosts the Dallas Stars Skating Academy (Learn to Skate USA classes, $20 per class booked ahead with free rental on class day) and the parent-and-child Ice Explorers program for ages 2.5-4 ($30 per class). Group rates for 10 or more need advance booking.
