On the first Wednesday of every month, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History adjusts its lighting and sound from 3 to 5 p.m. for visitors who benefit from a calmer setting. It's included with regular admission, and there's nothing extra to book. Upcoming dates are November 4 and December 2, 2026, and January 6, 2027. Families can use the hands-on galleries, including the temporary sports-science exhibit Forces at Play (open through February 28, 2027), with less noise and softer lighting. Enter through the Omni Theater entrance on Lansford Lane.
