Camp Frosty brings the feel of summer day camp to winter break at Howell Nature Center in Livingston County. Campers spend the day outdoors with winter activities such as snowshoeing, snow games and sledding (weather permitting), mixed with the center's traditional camp staples: archery, shelter building and wildlife programming with the center's animal ambassadors. Camp runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on six days across two weeks: December 21, 22 and 23, and December 28, 29 and 30, 2026. Families can book all six days as a bundle for $275 per camper or choose individual days at $50 per camper per day. Pre-registration is required and full non-refundable payment is due at registration; activities depend on the weather. Campers bring lunch, a water bottle, snow pants, weather-appropriate clothes, an extra change of clothes, closed-toed shoes, snacks and a backpack. The camp page does not list an age range, so check with the center when registering.
