Clemente Recreation Center, 2631 Bagley, hosts a free Halloween in the D party on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Like other participating Detroit recreation centers, it plans Halloween activities such as haunted houses, carnival games, face painting and DJs, and the city asks families to call the center for exact times at (313) 224-0228. The celebration is part of the City of Detroit's Halloween in the D program, which the city says reaches more than 30,000 residents and families each year with events in every City Council district.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
All Halloween in the D sites are listed on one City of Detroit page (curl, read 2026-10-21); 'free' comes from the program text ('safe, fun, and free experiences'). The page's sign-up link is for volunteers and participating partners; no family registration is mentioned. ZIP not printed.
