The Homeschool Acting Company, a student-founded and student-run troupe that rehearses at Orion Township Public Library, presents The Wizard of Oz in the library's Linda Sickles Meeting Rooms. Dorothy and Toto journey through the magical land of Oz, meeting new friends and facing challenges, in a family-friendly show full of adventure, humor and heart. The performance runs about 45 minutes, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2026, and is followed by a meet-and-greet with the young cast. All ages are welcome and the event is free; no registration is listed. A good first live-theater experience for preschoolers, and inspiring for kids who want to get on stage themselves.
