A Thanksgiving-weekend drop-in workshop at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Inspired by landscape paintings in the collection and their own favourite places, visitors create a vibrant landscape drawing with paint sticks, coloured pencils and oil pastels. Open Friday Nov 27 from noon to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday–Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.; families can drop in for as long as they like.
