The Orion Area Parade Group's volunteer-run Lighted Christmas Parade returns to downtown Lake Orion on the first Saturday of December at 6 pm. There is no theme this year; participants are invited to bring their own lights. The organizers mark a Quiet Zone on Flint Street between the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home and the United Methodist Church where drivers are asked not to use horns or sirens. The 2026 route map had not been posted when checked (the page links to the 2025 map).
