A drop-off evening for children 6 to 11 at the Lake St. Clair Metropark Nature Center, timed so parents get a few hours for holiday preparations. Kids make a keepsake craft, do nature-based activities, explore the trails after dark and finish around a bonfire with s'mores. Small snacks are provided, but children should eat a proper meal beforehand. The trail portion is on flat dirt and gravel. Three hours; register each child in advance.
