Upcoming dates: Sat, Nov 21 · Sat, Dec 19
A monthly story-craft-and-explore session for young children and their grown-ups at the Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center. Each session follows a seasonal theme — 'Oh, Deer!' on Nov 21 and 'Getting Ready for Winter' on Dec 19 — with a story, a craft and hands-on nature activities, then an hour-long walk of half a mile to a mile and a half with plenty of stops. Paths are gravel and sometimes steep; snow and ice can make them slippery in winter. For children 4 to 8 with a registered adult; adults are free.
