Canton kicks off its holiday season at Heritage Park with the Winter Wonderland Walk, a lighted trip around the pond with winter fun, entertainment and refreshments for purchase. Back for its third year, the Winter Wonderland Holiday Parade steps off at 4:00 p.m. along Veterans Way from Summit Parkway to Heritage Park Drive, with marching bands, community groups and festive holiday lights, and Santa arrives at the end of the parade. Admission is free. Bring a blanket or chairs for the curb along Veterans Way, then follow the crowd into the park for the walk around the pond. The lights around the pond stay up afterward for Canton's Holidays in Heritage walk through December 31.
