Baytown's long-running Christmas Parade rolls through the south side of town on Thursday, December 3, 2026, with a patriotic theme, Stars, Stripes & Christmas Lights, closing out America's 250th anniversary year. Expect illuminated floats, community groups and performances. Baytown Police Department's Blue Santa usually appears mid-parade, and Santa Claus rides as the grand finale. At 6:30 p.m. the tree-lighting ceremony takes place as the parade arrives at Baytown Town Square, which also opens the month-long Holiday Hangout. Accessible viewing parking is at Memorial Baptist Church (600 West Sterling Avenue) with views from the West Defee Street curb. No parking on the route; avoid the Citizen lot near Town Square or you may be blocked in. Only licensed light-up toy vendors are allowed.
