About this adventure

A mile-long drive-thru light show set up in the Typhoon Texas Waterpark parking lot in Katy. Families stay in the car the whole time: after showing the ticket in the entry tent, drivers switch off their headlights, tune the radio to the station given on site and roll through at about 3 mph past animated displays synced to holiday music, with a live DJ character (DJ Polar Ice) spinning each night as part of the new 2026 storyline. Snacks, drinks, light-up wands and light-show glasses are sold before the route starts, and there is a re-buckling area at the exit. One ticket covers one car, and pets may ride along. Time in the park depends on the line; the organizer notes weekdays are less crowded.
