About this adventure
The Woodlands Children's Museum's long-running not-scary Halloween party grows to two days this year. Aimed at children seven and under, SpookTacular fills the museum with costumed play: a new bat cave with friendly nocturnal creatures hidden among the trees and bog, carnival games such as Ring-a-Pumpkin and Ghost Bowling, and five daily magic shows by Monty the Magician. Friday adds slime-making in the art lab and SpookTacular storytimes at 11, noon and 1; Saturday has volunteer-led crafts making lacing pumpkins and monster door hangers to take home. Costumes are encouraged. The museum is open only for this event on both days, with separate tickets that include members.
