About this adventure
On the Thursday before Halloween, Children's Museum Houston turns its free family evening into the Happy House, a costume party for kids spread through the whole museum. Children dance with Radio ONE DJs and costumed monster characters, collect candy at five trick-or-treat stations around the galleries, and can catch a Halloween-themed hip-hop version of Jack and the Beanstalk by The Ensemble Theatre in the Brown Auditorium at 6:30 pm. Trick-or-treating starts at 4 pm and the party runs 5 to 8 pm, with last entry at 7:45 pm. Admission is free for all ages, so expect crowds; come in costume and arrive early for the play.
