About this adventure

North Houston's location of The Light Park chain fills the Hurricane Harbor parking lot off Interstate 45 in Spring with a mile-long drive-thru route of animated holiday lights. The visit follows six steps on the organizer's page: join the line (weekdays are less crowded), show your ticket inside the entry tent, pick up snacks, drinks, light wands or 'magic glasses' if you want them, switch off the headlights and tune the radio to the station given on site, then cruise the route at 3 mph while DJ Polar Ice works the decks. At the end there is a re-buckling area before you turn your headlights back on and head home. One ticket covers the whole carload, the park is open seven days a week, and pets are welcome. Tickets are sold on site, but the organizer strongly recommends buying online; time in the park depends on traffic.
