About this adventure
Conner Prairie's evening holiday festival spreads across its Fishers grounds. In 1836 Prairietown, Historic Holidays shows how 1800s families celebrated, with a magic-lantern crankie show at the Potter Shop kiln shed. The William Conner House becomes the screen for a 3D projection show of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and the LED Reynolds lights glow past the covered bridge. Indoors at the new Merry Marketplace, kids slide around Frosty's Sock Skating Rink (bring socks), join a fake-snowball fight and get faces painted. Children check in with Trinket Puddingmoon at Santa's Sleigh Barn before seeing Santa (selfies free, professional photos $15 each; the barn closes from Dec. 23), hear Mrs. Claus's cookie stories, ride Kringle's Carousel, zoom down the 150-foot Polar Bear Plunge tubing hill and try seasonal Spark!Lab activities. Dickensian carolers sing three times a night. Tickets are timed and sold in advance.
