About this adventure
The Fishers Arts Council hosts two free days of community activities for Día de Muertos at the Fishers Municipal Center, honoring loved ones who have passed. On Saturday, Oct. 31, families make mini ofrendas and other traditional crafts, listen to live music and browse artisan vendors. On Sunday, Nov. 1, visitors return to see the completed Community Altar, taste Mexican hot chocolate and pan de muerto, and enjoy more live music and activities. Both days run 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and are free. It is an easy add-on to Fishers' Boo Bash next door on Saturday morning and a hands-on way for children to learn about the holiday's traditions of remembrance.
