About this adventure
A guided family seining program at the GTM Research Reserve on the second Saturday of each month: families pull a seine net through Guana Lake and collect fish, crabs, shrimp, shells and plants, then learn about each animal's role. All gear, including waders and boots, is provided. There is no age limit, but a child must be at least three feet tall to hold the net. Registration is required; the only fee is $3 per vehicle for parking. Guides meet at Guana Dam 15 minutes before the 9 a.m. start.
