About this adventure
A one-day taste of Jacksonville Zoo's camp for children ages 5 to 7, held on the Martin Luther King Jr. Day school holiday. Campers get the same animal encounters, crafts and activities as a week of Zoo Camp, with each single-day session focused on a different section of the zoo. The day runs 9 am to 4 pm; extended care, a zoo lunch (standard or vegetarian) and snacks are optional add-ons. Registration is through the zoo's FunJoin page, and the zoo suggests creating an account and adding campers before sales open. Eligibility is based on the child's age at the start of camp. Programming is outdoors, rain or shine, and all sales are final.
