About this adventure

Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens lists Winter Zoo Camp 2026-2027 from December 28 through January 1, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for ages 5 to 12. The theme is animal opposites: what animals share and what they do not, from slow tree-dwelling sloths to fast grassland lions. Price is per child per day: members $70, non-members $75. Optional extended care is $15 per day, zoo lunch (standard or vegetarian) is $10 per day, and a snack is $2.99 per day. Campers are placed by age at the start of the camp week. A buddy request can be filed but is not guaranteed. Lunches cannot be changed after registration except for documented allergies. Sales are final, with no refunds for cancellations, no-shows, illness, or date changes. The zoo runs the camp outdoors rain or shine and refunds fully only if it cancels for severe weather such as a hurricane. Families register on FunJoin.
