One-night Halloween event at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park designed for younger children: hayrides, pumpkin decorating, and activities around Rose's Pond including puppet shows (StoneLion), Dino O'Dell music shows every 40 minutes from 4 p.m., bubbles and fire show, KC Wolf and Sluggerrr (5:15-6:45 p.m.), Mad Science slime, magic, Operation WildLife animal shows, stilt walkers and princess meet-and-greets. Primarily entertainment, not trick-or-treating, though sponsor booths have limited candy. Costumes optional. Outdoors only; canceled if weather does not cooperate. Free.
