About this adventure
A hands-on weekend baking class at The Culinary Center of Kansas City's Overland Park kitchen, where children ages 5 and up bake alongside their grown-ups. A chef walks families through bread from scratch: the ingredients, measuring and weighing, mixing, shaping and baking, with tips that make the process repeatable at home. Families taste what they make and leave with ready-to-bake dough (the menu lists a golden grain bread) to finish in their own oven. At two and a half hours it suits patient grade-schoolers and makes a good pre-Thanksgiving project; each participant needs a booked seat, and pricing appears in the booking system.
