Santa stops at the Hall of Waters in downtown Excelsior Springs for free pictures on a Friday evening in December. Families meet him at 201 E. Broadway, pick up reindeer food, and then line up for a trolley ride through the Lane of Lights, so the visit is both a photo stop and a short lighted ride rather than a studio sitting.
