About this adventure

Stars of Faith is a live planetarium program at the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium, billed as a special edition of Stargaze Kansas City. Educators cover the usual winter sky — constellations, planets, and deep-space objects — and then the ways faith traditions connect to that sky. The ticket page names astronomical references in the Quran, the lunar mechanics of the Hebrew calendar, and possible astronomical origins of the Star of Bethlehem. From November 20 through December 17 the public times are 12pm Tuesday through Friday, and 12pm and 3pm Saturday and Sunday. From December 18 through January 3 the times are 12pm and 3pm every day. Doors close at showtime and late entry is not available. It is listed separately from Laser Holiday Magic and from Holiday Reflections. General admission is $8.00. Members pay $5.
