Lee's Summit Parks & Recreation's Skate with Special Guests brings Santa onto the outdoor Summit Ice rink on a Saturday evening in December. Families skate alongside him, get a personal photo opportunity, and enjoy treats. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the official skate with Santa begins at 6 p.m., running until 8 p.m. Tickets are bought through the city's online registration system; the ticket does not include skate rental, so budget for rentals (offered at the rink) or bring your own skates. Dress warmly - the rink is outdoors, with fire pits on the patio.
