At this seasonal event families meet a woodsy Santa Claus at Ernie Miller Nature Center in Olathe, take a photo with him, see wildlife and listen to nature-themed holiday stories together in the spirit of the program's Tales of Father Christmas theme. The one-hour session runs 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 5 and is for all ages, though every child must come with an adult. Children and adults all need a registered, paid spot: advance tickets are $9 per child ($10 nonresident) and $5 per adult ($6 nonresident), or $11 and $7 on site if space remains. Bring a toy for the Cram the Cruiser toy drive. Fees are nonrefundable; call 913-826-2800 with questions.
