Big Day of Play at DISCOVERY Children's Museum

DISCOVERY Children's Museum turns one November weekend into a celebration of imagination and play. Throughout the museum, kids and families build, create, dance and explore through hands-on stations: making friendship bracelets, designing "healer headbands" and hunting for hidden play pals tucked around the galleries. Scheduled special presentations include a read-aloud for little learners, a science-of-perception demonstration and a Dance Paw-ty that the whole family can join. Families can also add on a Slime Workshop to mix their own batch of squishy, stretchy slime (an add-on, not part of the general activities). The museum's regular daily programs run alongside, such as Let's Go Code! for children 5 and younger and science-bench activities. Saturday runs 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday noon to 5 PM, matching museum hours, so families can drop in any time during the day.
