About this adventure
Early Explorers is the Las Vegas Natural History Museum's storytime for young children. This session reads Raven: A Trickster Tale from the Pacific Northwest by Gerald McDermott, a picture book inspired by traditional stories of Indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest, in which clever Raven sets off on an adventure to bring light to the world. The hour-long program pairs the read-aloud with listening, imagination and group discussion, aimed at children ages 3 to 8 and their grown-ups. It is included with museum admission or membership. Supplies for the session are limited and given out first come, first served; the museum asks families to RSVP online.
